What are the reasons why education cost a lot in U.S. We all need education to better our life, but is it worth it to spend that much money to help your society. School in some countries are almost free and in some students are struggling to paid for their education. It is so bad to the point where after graduation, grads students are ready to run away with their debt and live in different countries. This is what happen to James Thompson "When James Thompson decided to leave Britain in 2007, he resolved also to abandon his student debt of [pounds sterling]18,000. The 23-year-old graduate packed his bags for a new life in America and simply chose not to contact the Student Loans Company (SLC) and inform it of his imminent emigration." Education costs too much, not only for the students but also for the society. According to the College Board, " average published in-state tuition and fee plus room/board charges exceed $17,000 at four-year public institutions, a 6% increase from only one year earlier." What make education costs so high in U.S compared to others countries? Education costs affect the economy in many ways. Going to school will not only help students to get a good job, but it will also grow the economy.

Supporting Perspective
What can motivated students to graduated when they know what is waiting for them. Debt, This is the word that scared all students after graduation. They are in debt because they want to better their life, they are in debt because they want a better job, and the worst thing is they are in debt because they want to help their society. This high fees on education have a lot of impact on the society and worst on the economy. Young people preferred to stay out of school because they don't want to be in debt. The more people are dropping out from school, the least society have qualified people to work with. The reduction of education cost is one of the issues the country is been dealing with for years. According to the College Board report, they found "an increase in the cost of not-for-profit higher education of approximately 4 percent to 7 percent nationwide in 2009, but 19 schools bucked the trend and lowered their price tags this year. Christian-oriented and two-year public colleges constituted the majority of the 19." Last month, Senator ELIZABETH WARREN (D) Massachusetts Introduces the Bank on Students Loan Fairness Act, her first piece of stand-alone legislation. She came out with some very good point on why we should reduce the interest on students loan.

The high costs on education is what holding people in U.S to achieved their goal. Why is that Americans have to pay high fees for their education. Compared to others countries U.S education is way high then every other countries. According to the SIG "Studying in Germany is absolutely free of cost. There is no tuition fees charged for studying any of the diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate courses in Germany. This is because majority of the universities In Germany are state-funded and so they don’t ask for tuition fee from the students. However, the cost of living and food expenses need to be beared by the students." It is not only Germany who offer a free education, many other countries like Kenya offer a free education. According to Murunga, Felicity "The Free Secondary Education programme has overwhelming support from Kenyans and Africans in general; they see it as a potent instrument that can enable communities in the region to extricate themselves from object poverty, thus empowering them economically. It is therefore imperative for Kenyans to acknowledge that Free Secondary Education is not a luxury but a necessity for equitable social and economic development." People in other countries don't believe how high is the cost of education in U.S. A friend of my who came to study here was very surprise by the cost of tuition, he wasn't able to finish one semester because of the cost. So he wen back to his country. What is the government waiting to help his nation.

We all want to succeed in life, and for that education is one way to achieve our goal. It is possible to achieve our goal, but how can we pay for our education. We all know U.S has the most high fees in education, and the only want to afford it is either by taking a student loan, scholarship and financial aid. Most student would like to go for a scholarship, but the problem is, to be qualified you have to be one of the best in the field you are going for. You don't have to be rich, poor you have to be talented. According to the speaker house John Boehner "the House floor in support of H.R. 471, legislation renewing the bipartisan, successful D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program, which has helped thousands of disadvantaged students gain access to a quality education. Boehner also submitted for the record letters from a parent and several students who hope the [Barack] Obama Administration will work with Congress to ensure the program will continue." Scholarship is one of the best way to pay for your education. Another way to get free education is by getting a financial aid. According to FAFSA, "Financial Aid is any grant or scholarship, loan, or paid employment offered to help a student meet his/her college expenses. Such aid is usually provided by various sources such as federal and state agencies, colleges, high schools, foundations, and corporations. The amount of financial aid that a student receives is determined through federal, state and institutional guidelines." The last way of having your education pay is getting a loan. Student who get a loan are already in debt. The bank pay for all your education and you will have to pay them back after you gratitude. You pay the bank with some interest. Student loan is great it pay for your education, but are you willing to pay for you education for the rest of your life? Education cost need to be review to allow people to reach their goal.

How many people are willing to pay for their education or getting a student loan. They are a lot of people who don't have a problem getting loads for their education, They can be in debt to death but their will pay for their education no matter what. How much money U.S student have borrowed so far, According to Robert Applebaum "Student debt perhaps as high as one trillion dollars—is responsible for holding back many American workers. Furthermore, this debt is putting an additional strain on the US economy. After finishing a higher education degree, many students have accumulated the kind of debt associated with a mortgage loan. Because of this debt, these typically young workers are unable to contribute to the economy by buying homes, raising children, and going on vacations. By forgiving that debt, the government will unleash the purchasing power of these workers, who will then be in a better position to contribute to a US economic recovery." What are the good reasons of be in debt? They say, they have the best education system in the world. It is true that its a privilege to go to school in U.S, and high tuition fees is the price to pay for. They also say, school is very expensive in U.S because of the living cost, and their want student not to work but been focus on their education. This is why the have to loan them enough money not only for his tuition but also for his living cost. They also say, the place you study also matter when it come to look for a job. Going to school who has a good reputation also give you a chance to find a better job. They say school with great reputation can only be found in U.S, and those school required a huge mound of money. That another reasons why education cost a lot in U.S. It is true that education in U.S in better than everywhere but the fees are to high to allow anyone to help the society.
